1. In recent years, the overall development of the industrial textile industry has been steady and progress, and the industry innovation highlights are frequent. How do you view the development of the technical textile industry in the first ten years?
 
       Cao Xuejun: In the past ten years, the industrial textile industry has continued to grow rapidly and the industrial chain has been steadily improved. It has been a decade of intensive application of new technologies and continuous expansion of textile development space. It has served various fields of the national economy and the role of the textile industry. A more visible decade. The development of the industrial textile industry has not only become an important growth pole of the textile industry, but has also played an increasingly important role in the construction of major national projects and public health and safety responses.
       The advantages of the system are continuously strengthened. From 2011 to 2020, the main business income of industrial textile enterprises above designated size increased from 195.06 billion yuan to 319.8 billion yuan, and the total profit increased from 10.31 billion yuan to 36.5 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 5.65% and 15.08% respectively. In 2010, the fiber processing volume of industrial textiles in my country was 8.22 million tons. In 2020, the processing volume doubled to 19.16 million tons, with an average annual growth rate of nearly 9%. The proportion of fiber processing of technical textiles in the total textile fiber processing increased from 20% to 33%. The output of nonwovens increased from 2.8 million tons in 2010 to 8.46 million tons in 2020, with an average annual growth rate of 11.69%. my country has become the world's largest producer of industrial textiles.
       The export scale expanded steadily. At present, my country is the world's largest exporter of industrial textiles, accounting for about 25% of global exports. In 2010, my country's products in Chapter 56 (non-woven fabrics, ropes, ropes, etc.) have overtaken Germany and the United States in global market share, but the advantages are not obvious, while the products in Chapter 59 (dipping, coating) have greatly exceeded. By 2019, my country's products in Chapters 56 and 59 have reached 22.39% and 30.88% in the global market, respectively. Affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic in 2020, the export of masks and protective clothing products has grown rapidly, and the export of my country's industrial textiles has reached 87.4 billion US dollars.
Technological innovation continues to improve. In 2020, the R&D investment of key industrial textile enterprises in my country accounted for 2.92% of operating income, an increase of 1.6 percentage points over 2010. A lot of achievements have been made in wide and heavy weaving, multi-axial warp knitting, three-dimensional weaving, non-woven forming and consolidation, as well as composite and functional finishing of textile materials. Non-woven fabrics, high-temperature filtration, sanitary materials, geotechnical construction, ropes and cables, canopy canvas and other fields have basically reached the international advanced level, forming the technical advantages of my country's industrial textiles.
       The industrial structure has been continuously optimized. After ten years of development, the scale of leading enterprises in the industry has continued to expand, and a number of "unicorn" small and medium-sized enterprises have emerged. In 2020, the average sales revenue of the top 30 companies in my country's industrial textile industry from the main business revenue has exceeded 2 billion yuan, 3 companies have sales revenue of more than 10 billion yuan, and a total of 5 companies in the industry have been selected as the single champion enterprises in the manufacturing industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. 3 products were selected as single champion products in the manufacturing industry, and 20 enterprises were selected into the list of "specialized, special and new" enterprises by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. From 2010 to 2020, the product structure of the industry has been continuously optimized. The fiber processing volume of medical and sanitary textiles, geotechnical construction textiles, filtration and separation textiles, and structural reinforcement textiles has increased rapidly in the proportion of industrial textiles. The proportion of traditional products such as sail textiles dropped significantly.
       The field of application continues to expand. At present, the market penetration rate of baby diapers and feminine hygiene products has exceeded 90%, and the products are developing towards comfort, greenness and personalization. High-efficiency filter materials help to win the "blue sky defense war". The application ratio of bag dust removal technology in the steel industry is 95%, in the cement industry is close to 90%, and in the waste incineration industry up to 100%. Since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia, my country has provided about 350 billion masks and more than 4 billion protective clothing to the international community, contributing to the global fight against the epidemic. The mooring polyester cable for deep-sea oil and gas platforms has been successfully developed and put into application. Three-dimensional textile materials, ultra-fine warp-knitted metal mesh, and special cables are used in deep space and deep-sea engineering.
 
2. The "14th Five-Year Plan" period is an important opportunity period for the industrial textile industry to consolidate the industrial foundation, improve the modernization level of the industrial chain, and achieve high-quality development. Under such development opportunities, what are the expectations for the industrial textile industry?
 
       Cao Xuejun: During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, it is hoped that my country's industrial textiles will continue to become the main growth point of the textile industry, strengthen technological innovation, continue to optimize the industrial structure, promote product upgrades and extension of application fields, and accelerate digital, green, and intelligent transformation to achieve high-quality development. The first is to play a leading role. The growth rate of the industry will strive to be higher than the overall growth rate of the textile industry, and the industrial added value of enterprises above designated size will increase by about 6% annually. The second is to fully apply technical standards, laws and regulations such as quality, energy consumption, safety production, and environmental protection to eliminate outdated production capacity. Promote the construction of industrial clusters of non-woven fabrics, protective textiles, and high-temperature filtration textiles, and improve the supporting capacity and core competitiveness of the industrial chain of the cluster. Accelerate the upgrading of the industrial structure, cultivate high-quality enterprises in a gradient, and 3 to 5 enterprises enter the first echelon of global industrial textiles. The third is to strengthen scientific and technological innovation, the R&D expenditure of key enterprises in the industry accounts for 3% of the main business income, and the expansion of technology R&D and application fields will be strengthened. Improve the stability of special fiber web and biodegradable polymer spinning technology, and promote the industrialization of nano and micro fiber nonwoven fabric technology. Create a new innovation platform, build regional innovation centers, and carry out key technology research and market applications in subdivided fields. Fourth, adhere to green development, support enterprises to build energy management systems, encourage the use of clean energy, apply energy-saving technologies and equipment, and create green factories. Promote degradable disposable hygiene products and reusable products, and the application of recycled fibers and biomass fibers accounts for 15%. The fifth is to promote the integration of industrialization and industrialization, and promote digital and intelligent manufacturing. The numerical control rate of key processes in nonwovens enterprises has reached 70%. 3. There are still some gaps between my country's industrial textile industry and foreign advanced levels in some key technologies and key areas. What problems in the development of the industry will be focused on in the "Guiding Opinions" released this time?
 
      Cao Xuejun: In order to solve the problems in development, the "Guiding Opinions" put forward 5 key tasks and 8 key areas of improvement actions based on the basic principles of "adhering to innovation-led, demand-oriented, structural optimization, and win-win cooperation". Promote breakthroughs in key technologies and key areas. In terms of key technologies: build regional innovation centers, and carry out key technology research and market applications in subdivided fields. Encourage enterprises to increase investment in research and development, strengthen industrial chain collaboration, build key technology research and development bases in the industry, and accelerate the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements. Carry out basic research on nonwovens spinning, web forming and forming, improve the stability of special fiber web forming and biodegradable polymer spinning and web forming technology, and promote the industrialization of nano and micro fiber nonwoven fabric technology. Strengthen multi-axial warp knitting, large-size forming, three-dimensional weaving, 2.5-dimensional weaving and other technological research, solve the technical problems of continuous, automated and digital three-dimensional forming, and develop functionalized, green finishing and composite technologies for textile flexible materials. Carry out the development of polypropylene chips for non-woven fabrics, biodegradable materials, special fibers, special auxiliaries, and weaving molding equipment to improve the stability of the industrial chain and quality efficiency. In terms of key areas: First, strengthen the technical research of flash spinning into cloth. The second is to develop lightweight and soft positive pressure protective clothing fabrics to improve the mechanical properties, air tightness and chemical resistance of the materials.
